This is Greg Weldon's 38th year in the global financial markets industry, with experience ranging from his introduction to the markets as a floor trader on the COMEX in New York’s World Trade Center, to time spent as a broker for Lehman Brothers and Prudential Securities, before he moved on to becoming a proprietary money manager for two of the most successful hedge funds in history, Moore Capital Management and Commodities Corporation.

Greg started Weldon Financial in December of 1998, is registered with the NFA as a Series 3 licensed CTA, and has been producing independent research on his own for the last twenty-two years.

Katelyn joined Weldon Financial in the summer of 2010, and in 2020 became the Chief Operating Officer of the company In those eleven years, she has helped build a daily history of Greg’s proprietary algorithms across the global futures and equities markets. In addition to strategizing and backtesting several management programs traded over the last decade, Katelyn provided daily support for our TradeLAB and TrendTRAKR offerings for much of the 2010s. Her primary focus has shifted to client-side support, accounting, daily trade execution and reconciliation, risk management, and regulatory compliance. She enjoys flexing her creative muscles with Greg, testing portfolio ideas, brainstorming analytical tools, and pushing to evolve the WeldonLIVE in line with the global markets Katelyn welcomed her daughter in 2019, and resides with her family in Central NJ.

She holds Series 3 and Series 30 Licenses, as well as a B.S. Degree in Physics from McGill University.
