Balancing on her knees while on the fountain ‘s edge theses were the poses Claire Sparkle created for my mother in California. Every group that joins us on a French la Vie Journey comes with its own dreams, inspirations, and souvenir they hope to discover — and we listen.

Some are searching for pieces for their homes, be it table top pieces or furniture, textiles, or jewelry to create with. Some come inspired by French antiques and craftsmanship, some come to find pieces for their shops, while others are drawn by the culture, history, markets, and the beauty of everyday life in France.

That is one of the joys of these journeys: no two are ever the same.

We always include beloved places we return to time and time again, but there are also special additions chosen for each group — depending on what sparks their curiosity and imagination. We seek, explore, and discover together.

Truffle toast, Roasted beets with herb cream, wild mushrooms risotto, quenelles with a blue cheese and cherry sauce, green salad, pizza with ricotta and legumes, mousse, baguette… and so much more xxx

unexpected photos that Gabriel took – using my phone

Our French la Vie group had just left when Gabriel and Olivia came over at seven. I made pancakes. I was so happy to see them, and I so wanted to sleep.
Little did I know I had a photographer in the kitchen documenting my moves.
