Brian William Huttner, age 51, of Savage, MN, passed away surrounded by his family on July 20, 2024.

A Time of Gathering will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, and from 9:30 AM – 10:45 AM with a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, all at Saint James Lutheran Church, 460 Annapolis Street W, West St Paul, MN 55118. Pastor Richard Stadler will preside.

Brian will be laid to rest at Acacia Park Cemetery in Mendota Heights, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.

Marvel Gaudette, aged 91, of Savage, passed away on July 16, 2024.

Marvel will be laid to rest next to her husband, Dewey, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a private family interment.

Marvel Evelyn Gaudette was born on June 14, 1933 in McKinley, Wisconsin, to parents John and Millie (Jacobson) Petersen. She married Duane “Dewey” Gaudette on November 12, 1955. They had five children together, Denise, Linda, Don, Kathy, and Chris. She worked as a nurse for all of her career until retirement. In retirement, she enjoyed being a grandma, great-grandma and making beautiful quilts. She also loved to volunteer at the Minnesota Zoo, Meals on Wheels, and the local hospitals.

Marvel is forever loved by her children, Denise Gaudette, Linda (Paul) Gaudette-Sigel, Donald (Ann) Gaudette, Kathy (Norm) Jerde, Chris (Kristi) Gaudette; grandchildren, Melissa (Ryan), Chris, Claire, John (Kas), Zach, Maddie, great-grandchildren, Ben, Mara, and Crosby; sister, Ellie Bilderback; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Marvel is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey; parents, John and Millie; grandson, Luke; and siblings, Phyllis, Norma, Martha, Ewald, Elwood, Clyde, Elva.

Floyd Bertrand Carlson was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, brother and friend. He left this world peacefully, with his daughter by his side, on July 16, 2024 at age 84. 

A Time of Gathering will take place on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Ballard Sunder Funeral Home in Shakopee, MN (833 Marschall Rd.) from 12:30 – 2:00 PM. Following closing words, a luncheon will be held at the funeral home.

He was born to Emil and Johanna Carlson on September 3, 1939. Floyd grew up in Minneapolis, MN along with his three siblings Ralph, Lois and Herb. 

Floyd married Sandra (Sandy) Manning on August 19, 1961 and moved into their new home in Bloomington, MN. They later had two children Deb who was born in 1964 and Doug who was born in 1966. They enjoyed family vacations up north at Osakis and Woman Lake with extended family, out on the lake fishing for hours. Dedicated to his career at Rosemount Engineering, Floyd became the Purchasing Manager where he later retired after 39 years. While working at Rosemount Engineering, he met and married his late wife, Patricia Carlson. They were married on October 7, 1983 and began their life together in Shakopee, MN.

Floyd continued to enjoy many different activities, including golfing, playing cards, fishing, hunting, bowling and camping. While camping up on The Horseshoe Chain of Lakes, Floyd jumped on the opportunity to purchase the open lot for sale next to the campground, where he later spent much of his time enjoying the outdoors lakeside, with family and friends. In the off-season, Floyd and Pat would take trips down to Brownsville, TX where they spent several months together escaping the harsh Minnesota winters. 

He really just enjoyed the little things in life like spending time outdoors with family and friends. Floyd was very proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

He is survived by his sister, Lois Bischof; children, Deb (Curt) Lembeck and son Doug Carlson; stepchildren, Carrie (Tim) Boys, Kathy (Brian) Sandberg, David (Christy) McCutcheon; grandchildren, Jen (Dylon) Fuchs, Andrea (Jeff Vial) Lembeck and Matt (Chloe) Lembeck; step grandchildren, Michelle (Casey) Campbell, Megan (Jason) Sichting, Matt (Caitlyn Ferdig) Boys, Jake Boys, Nicole (Brandon) Brown, Katie and Mia McCutcheon; great grandchildren, Reegan and Graham Fuchs; step great grandchildren, Flynn, Cody, Hazel and Hudson Boys, Lexi and Warren Sichting, Olivia and Liam Boys, Morgan Boys and Arlo Brown.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Carlson, parents, Emil and Johanna Carlson, brothers, Ralph and Herb Carlson.

Raisa Martirosyan (Arustamyants) was born on March 22, 1938, in the city of Pyatigorsk, Russia, to Danil & Sofiya. Raisa was the youngest of 5 children: Asya, Fenya, Nikolay, and Nina.  

As a young woman, Raisa moved to Baku to pursue a degree in economics. During her time at university, she met her future husband Oleg Martirosyan. The two married in 1963, and were blessed with two wonderful children, Liana and Sogomon (Simon), and lived many happy years together. They settled in the beautiful city on the Caspian Sea to raise their family.  

In 1989, the Martirosyan family was forced to leave their home during the nationalist war. The family moved to the safety of their family in Pyatigorsk. In 1992 Martirosyans left their homeland and relatives and moved to the United States. They settled in Fargo, ND where they spent 13 winters before moving to Minneapolis. Raisa had a successful career at Dayton’s store in Fargo where she was loved by her colleagues and has received many accolades for her work. Raisa quickly made connections and established friendships in the United States. However, she always had part of her attached to her hometown. Over the years she took many trips back to Russia with her children and granddaughter. She treasured every moment she was able to spend with her family. She was instrumental in arranging the move of her niece Marina and her family to the United States in 2007 and was so glad to have more family here.

Raisa was a magnificent and strong woman. No matter what obstacle came before her she never gave up. Her positive outlook and fortitude motivated her family and friends throughout the years.  She was generous, compassionate and exceptionally kind.  Raisa was a fascinating conversationalist and captivated anyone she encountered with her outstanding storytelling. She loved life and touched many hearts throughout her lifetime. Raisa’s family here and back home meant everything to her, and her love will forever remain with them. Her legacy will live on through her children, Liana (Vital) Brouillard and Sogomon Martirosyan; granddaughter, Eva Brouillard; and all her loving relatives and friends.  Raisa was greeted in Heaven by her husband, Alik, parents, Danil & Sofiya, siblings, Asya, Fenya, Nikolay, and Nina.
