Truth March

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. —John 8:32

Our journey around Jericho is a truth march.

We will battle for territory through awareness. You can expect intense warfare but as Children of God, we are fully equipped for each victory. The majority of my march consisted of displacing deceptive mindsets and learning and living in Biblical truth and awareness. Seventy five percent of spiritual warfare is awareness. The remaining 25%, well, that is faith and prayer. We will battle through false belief systems, doubt, apathy, fear, and mostly a false identity. However, our greatest triumphs will be cheered by all of heaven each time we step out of a lie and become fully aware of God’s truth, His whole truth.

Now as we prepare to march my fellow comrades, allow me to equip you with a brand new, warrior’s tool belt, named The Belt of TRUTH (Ephesians 6:14). You will add tools to your belt throughout our march, depend upon it, and then build a marriage and your faith with the tools you gained.

The first truth to place at the center of your warrior belt is this: God loves you. He adores you. And you are His favorite! God is proud of you. He’s longs to spend every moment of every day with you. He is desperate for you to experience His goodness and to live in continual communication and awareness of His Presence in your life.

Truth number two: You are forgiven. The circumstances that brought about your marriage to an unbeliever are irrelevant to God. If you have asked the Lord’s forgiveness even just once, He forgave you. IT IS FINISHED! (John 19:30) You are fully forgiven and living under the covering of Christ Jesus. You are entitled to God’s love and favor upon your life and specifically your mismatched marriage. God doesn’t hold grudges and He will never condemn you with guilt because of your past mistakes. So, if you are struggling in this area of your faith, if you have received ridicule by a pastor or other church members because you married an unbeliever, this is your freedom day. Hallelujah!

Forgive them. Forgive yourself. Release all words of condemnation to the Lord. Pray and ask the Lord to remove all shame and guilt because those are a ruse of the deceiver. Your inheritance as a child of God is a thriving faith-life and marriage.

Truth number Three: God has decreed a divine purpose and destiny for your life and marriage. Each and every one of your Kingdom missions, assignments, purpose, and your current season of life, were recorded in your book before time began (Psalm 139:16). They are God given dreams, hopes, possibilities and mandates that are waiting fulfillment. You are not disqualified because of your marital status, your gender, your age or your socio-economic limitations, etc., etc.

Hear me clearly. God doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called. We are the called. You and I are designated to be the love and voice of Jesus to a man or woman with whom you share life. We are created for a high and holy purpose. We are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). We have the power of life in our tongues and the demons are terrified. THIS is our truth.

Truth number four: Our inheritance is now. Our inheritance doesn’t begin when we pass into heaven. Freedom from fear is now. Kingdom living is now. God is releasing gifts, talents, and abilities, presents, awards, and favor along with adventures and fulfillment of dreams to those who hunger and thirst for more of His Kingdom. The Jericho March is much more than the salvation of one person. It’s our calling to search out and learn to walk in everything that God desires for our life. He is incredibly anxious for us to uncover His Kingdom benefits and to become the powerful children of God He knows that we are.

       

The tools that I share are powerful and they work. I use them regularly and share them with others. These are Godly and Biblical principles that empower a believer to walk into ever increasing health, spiritually, emotionally and physically.

There are many of My children who have languished in this end-time season, locked in the enemy’s prisoner of war camps. The barbed wire of disillusionment and abandonment, gouge and leave bleeding scars. Through this extended, grueling season of illness, persecution has devastated their very soul. They are prisoners of war, left abandoned on the plains of battle. Whispers of finality through betrayal, hopelessness, apathy and fear are the lies that fortify their restraints.

These are My Beloved Children who love Me and once believed in My truths and Kingdom. But the blows of darkness birthed perceived falsehoods, speaking the lie that I was unaware of their sufferings. They turned toward the lies that My Sovereign hand somehow allowed the brokenness and tears overwhelmed their faith.

From My Throne; My voice thunders in peeling crack of raw emotions and booming love.

It is NOT SO!

My love and power are always enough to liberate every soul.

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. —Psalm 56:8

I have wept with you as I collected every tear as a token that restitution is due. I have stored each droplet that cries out for vindication of all that the enemy of life has stolen.

Today, My children who are beset by bitterness and strife, determine your heart to trust Me again. Pray. Speak to me again, for I never left you alone. People may have failed you, left you devastated, lost in rejection, but I stand for you. I am your hope, redemption, your healing, life and I have every answer to your questions. I AM your place of refuge.

Delay not another moment. Release your heart to Me. I’m a moment away. Your faith and My love are your healing script. Pray without ceasing and never give up.

He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever. —Revelation 21:4

So, I had an entirely different post planned and written for today. However, in my spirit, I can’t remain quiet. There are important issues of the day that are relevant to our faith, our home and our marriage. And so, with fear of rejection or criticism, I’m stepping out to share some things upon my heart. I ask that you read what I share and consider how these current day issues are a factor in your life, faith and within your marriage. And I also ask that you forgive me for being timid in the past as I avoided issues which are challenging for all of us to agree upon.

Finally, I ask that you discern what the Lord and His Word are speaking to you about the topics, share in the comments with love. As a body of believers, we need to discuss issues in the news and in our churches in order to resolve within ourselves our stance because very soon, our conviction may be the only thing that keeps us from falling down the slippery slope. And if you disagree with me, that’s okay. Please be kind in the comments.

So, where to start.

Today I feel absolutely overwhelmed to write about a process that I had with the Lord this morning. It has been the strangest experience and powerfully revelatory. So, I will walk you through it and then let’s talk about the implications in the comments.

Last night I awoke in the middle of the night. I distinctly heard two names. One of which I am familiar and one I’ve never heard before.

Two Williams. WEIRD!!!  Can I just ask you, has this happened to you? Have you awakened hearing a person’s name whispered in your ear at night???? I’m tellin’ ya…. WEIRD.

Early this morning, with coffee in hand, I sat down in my prayer room and proceeded to Google search these names.

Whoa. To my astonishment, William F. Barkley, was a theologian who was born December 5, 1907 and died in 1978. The interesting thing about this Professor and pastor of the Church of Scotland is that he denied the reality of the Trinity. He was a prolific writer as well as teacher.

Interesting. Okay Lord.

Then I searched William Taft, twenty seventh president of the United States. Brilliant man who was a four-term President as well as a Supreme Court Justice. A long history of public service adorns his resume. However, after searching further I discovered he presented himself as a Christian but fully adopted the doctrines of the Unitarian church. BTW, I knew nothing about either of these people nor the Unitarian Church prior to this morning.

So, in my process with the Father I asked: Father, why are you showing me this?

His response: This is information about the future. Denial of the Trinity.

You see, both Williams had a singular similarity. They adopted doctrine that denies the truth of the Triune God. Unitarianism is central to the denial of the Trinity and it goes further to deny the deity of Christ as well as the denial of the supernatural.

Instantly I understood why the Lord placed these two names into my mind in the middle of the night and their commonality is the denial of the Trinity. The Lord went on to impress upon me that in the future, end-times, the church will unite under Unitarianism as it is the belief system that welcomes all faiths.

The Lord created this name puzzle with the Williams to be so unlikely, so crazy, that I would have zero doubt as to the message and that it was of the Lord.

Gang, I rarely hear names in the middle of the night, especially names of people I don’t even know.

Sitting in my prayer room, I grieved as I thought about the millions that will be deceived. Unitarianism began under the original name, Arian…. Good grief… (Arian Nation, Nazism sprang to mind.) The denial of the Trinity, then denial of Christ as Deity and finally when all possibility of the supernatural realms is tossed out, the gates of hell open and all faiths will unite. If Christ is merely a human man like the rest of us, then the power of the cross is a lie.

However, in this moment on the couch in my prayer room, a vigorous truth arose in my spirit. Here it is:

The truth about Jesus is that He is different than any other man who walked this earth. He was born of a virgin. The seed of God is incorruptible and wholly pure, divine. The DNA is pure and unaltered and the perfection of mankind, thus his blood sacrifice meets every demand of the law and the prophets. He is one of the three in the Trinity. He is deity. He is the Word. He is the Lamb who took away the sins of the world.

HALLELUJAH!

Why this history lesson? My SUMite friends, awareness is our profound gift as we face the largest battle in the church in this current day, deception. If we are unaware of the schemes of satan, we are doomed to fall into this big, beautiful, welcoming, church that still allows me to be a Christian but at the core denies the power and truth of Christ.

I will tell you this, shallow believers will run with passion to the doors. Our unbelieving spouses will smile and say, “Now, this sounds like a church I could attend.”

I’m not kidding. These scenarios are very real for our lives. So…… Now, here is the difficult part of this message. You are aware. Now you are accountable.

What can we do. Praise Jesus that He is showing His Bride the truth. He is actively and with wild efforts, such as speaking names I don’t know into my ear at night, making us aware of what is coming. He is urging us to prayer and to seek out the truths and have them LOCKED IN our heart, mind, soul and strength.

Pray for wisdom. Pray for discernment. Pray for revelation (Ephesians 1:18) Pray that God’s truth will be made known and deception defeated. In Jesus name.
