U.S. Supreme Court Justices Amy Coney Barrett and Sonia Sotomayor appeared at a Washington event together Tuesday to stress the importance of civil disagreement and civic engagement.
“We sit across from one another [at lunch] and I know that Justice Sotomayor respects me and we have affection for one another,” Barrett said at George Washington University as part of Civic Learning Week.
