When the Council of the American Bar Association Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar met in November, it voted to send out for notice and comment—which ends Jan. 8—a proposal that would allow a fully online law school to apply for, and potentially earn, provisional and full ABA approval.
During the Nov. 17 meeting, Daniel Thies, vice chair, said the proposal would involve changes to Standards 701 and 702—from the Strategic Review Committee—which are spelled out in the Dec. 1 memorandum.
