5 Shearman Partners Quit As Firm Eyes 'Weighted’ Vote On Hogan Lovells Merger

Five partners have quit Shearman & Sterling as the firm prepares for a possible merger with Hogan Lovells.

Paris corporate partner Thomas Phillipe is joining King & Spalding, according to two people with knowledge of the move. Phillipe joined the firm in 2019, prior to which he was a partner at Mayer Brown.
