Corporate transactions were the lifeblood of many firms last year, with the practice area frequently being cited as the source of tremendous financial growth by Am Law 200 firms. Yet the market cannot remain at peak forever, and many commentators are warning of fewer deals on the horizon as the economic cycle turns.
