A former northern Kentucky attorney, who still serves as a spokesman for the law firm at which he used to practice, alleged in a putative class action that Facebook harmed his business by targeting him for censorship based on his conservative views.

Eric Deters, a self-described ”rebel” and manager of the Independence, Kentucky, firm, said he has approximately 80,000 followers across various social media platforms, but a significant portion follow him and the practice on Facebook. While Deters himself is no longer practicing, his law firm has four “affiliated lawyers,” according to its website.
