Slaughter and May Introduces New Assistant Role Following Review

Slaughter and May has introduced a new executive assistant tole following a review of its legal secretary ranks, in an effort to modernise the role amid changing working practices.

Following a review, which began in 2019 and completed at the end of 2020, all legal secretaries in the firm will now have the job title of ‘executive assistant’, a spokesperson confirmed, with no redundancies made as a result of the changes.
