The bankruptcy trustee for the Girardi Keese estate said the $2 million in client funds that prompted a contempt judgment against the law firm in cases involving the Lion Air 610 crash might just be the “tip of the iceberg.”

At a hearing Tuesday, Elissa Miller, of SulmeyerKupetz in Los Angeles, who is trustee in the Chapter 7 bankruptcy of Girardi Keese, told U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Barry Russell of the Central District of California that her staff was receiving dozens of calls a day from clients in other lawsuits.
