Chicago-based litigation funder Delta Capital Partners has again hired a former law firm executive for its leadership.

Peter Cornell, who served as Clifford Chance’s managing partner from 2001 to 2006, joined Delta Capital as president, the funder announced this week.  It also said it elevated another former law firm leader, Martin Lueck, to chief operating officer. Lueck initially joined the company in early 2020 as chief underwriting officer after 11 years leading plaintiffs’ firm Robins Kaplan.
