IAC has named Kendall Handler as general counsel and senior vice president of the New York-based holding company, which owns Vimeo, The Daily Beast, Angie’s List and dozens of other global brands.

Handler succeeds Gregg Winiarski, who is slated to step down at the end of the year after having led IAC’s legal department for more than a decade. He’ll stay on as an adviser to smooth the transition to a new chief lawyer.
