President Donald Trump is reportedly ready to nominate Judge Amy Coney Barrett as his choice to fill the vacancy at the U.S. Supreme Court following the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg one week ago.

The president is scheduled to formally announce his nominee Saturday evening, but numerous media outlets were reporting Friday evening that Barrett, who sits on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, will get the nod.
