Defense lawyers and insurers in Australia expect to see an increase in the number of coronavirus-related class-action suits as the pandemic wears on, particularly in tourism and aged care.
So far, only a handful of COVID-19-related class actions have been filed in Australia, but lawyers say that is likely to change.
