The consulting arm of Australian law firm Sparke Helmore Lawyers has hired former PricewaterhouseCoopers partner Bruce McDonald in Sydney to lead its business consulting practice.

McDonald joins Sparke Helmore Consulting (SHC) as a principal adviser and will focus on “ensuring businesses are ‘match fit’ from a performance perspective – whether [through] improvements to operating models, operational process, costs or function effectiveness”, Sparke Helmore said in a statement.
