TOLEDO, Ohio — The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) is making it a little easier for local theater-loving kids to pursue their passion.
The NEA recently revealed its list of $110 million in grants to arts organizations around the country.
Two northwest Ohio organizations received money to support their work in the arts.
The Children’s Theatre Workshop of Toledo received $20,000 to “support the theater’s in-school and after-school theater education programs.
The Children’s Theatre Workshop works with Toledo Public Schools and Washington Local Schools
In addition, Bowling Green State University received a $25,000 grant to help put on an exhibition featuring the work of contemporary South African artists.
