Power restored in Holland area after tree downed into power line causes more than 900 outages

As of 1 a.m., fewer than 20 people are without power, according to the Toledo Edison outage tracker.

HOLLAND, Ohio — A tree that fell into a power line on Garden Road in Holland Thursday night knocked out power for more than 1,500 Toledo Edison customers, according to the utilities company's outage tracker.

As of 1 a.m., fewer than 20 people are without power.

Power is estimated to be fully restored at 2:30 a.m. Friday, according to the website.

Springfield Township firefighters at the scene on Garden Road just west of I-475 told WTOL 11 that the cause of the felled tree is unclear at this time.
