TOLEDO, Ohio — A man was sent to the hospital after being stabbed in downtown Toledo Friday morning.
According to Toledo police, they responded to the area of North Superior Street and Orange Street around 9:45 a.m. on a call of a person stabbed.
When crews arrived, they located the victim, Robert Boone, 36, with a large laceration to his arm. He was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Toledo police said a person matching the suspect description was detained a block away from the crime scene. According to court documents, Eldepalo Porter, 51, was arrested and charged with felonious assault.
Court documents state Porter and the victim were engaged in a fight when Porter allegedly cut the victim with a knife.
