TOLEDO, Ohio — A fire at a vacant house in central Toledo Friday that also knocked out the electricity to the neighboring house is under investigation for possible arson, according to the Toledo Fire & Rescue Department.
TFRD crews responded to the fire on Pinewood Avenue, just south of Dorr Street, at about 4:30 p.m.
The fire spread to a neighboring home and knocked out the electricity, preventing the resident from staying at the home overnight, TFRD said. The neighboring home sustained damage to the siding and attic but is not a total loss.
