Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana…
White River at Hazleton.
.Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall last week produced enough runoff
to bring minor flooding along the White River from Elliston down to
along Knox County. Flooding will begin at Hazleton Sunday morning.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…White River at Hazleton.
* WHEN…From this morning to Thursday evening.
* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, Floodwaters cover much low ground in
agricultural season. Low lying oil fields…Pottsville Road and
possibly a few other low rural roads flood. High water isolates
Pottstown, a river cabin community.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– There is no current observed data.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this morning to a crest of 18.5 feet early Tuesday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday
morning.
– Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
