* At 318 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Town of Pines, or over Michigan City, moving
northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD…Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

EDT.
Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Pottawattomie Park and Michiana Shores.
This includes Interstate 94 in Indiana between mile markers 33 and
