"In Conversation" With Jeff Woodman, Voice of the Lord John Series

What a true joy to welcome narrator, Jeff Woodman, to the Hive to immerse in all of the things we love about the Lord John Series by Diana Gabaldon and to celebrate Jeff's incredible range of vocal and performing talent. Retired and virtually "off the grid", Jeff gave us an immense and rare gift of his time and presence on a Sunday afternoon in a first ever live broadcast interview. IT WAS FABULOUS and everyone (including Jeff) had a fantastic time! To celebrate, we packed in several unique surprises.

You will notice this event runs a little longer than the previous "In Conversation" interviews. I created a special montage of Jeff's many voices to play as a surprise for Jeff and the audience. Additionally, Jeff graciously performed a first ever live reading from Echo in the Bone chapter 32, "A Flurry of Suspicion" featuring Lord John, Harold Grey and Harry Quarry. These two extra components added 25 minutes or so to the show, but they were WELL worth the time!

Jeff was a pure pleasure, and we have designated him as an honorary Hiver! Enjoy and please leave a comment below!

Many thanks to Recorded Books for their assistance, Jeff Woodman for his time, generosity and talent ... and, of course, Diana Gabaldon for creating this series and its incredible characters!
