CLEVELAND - For 27 years, Live Nation has helped nurture young musicians through the Tri-C High School Rock Off, giving talented area teens an opportunity to show their wares on professional stages in venues including The Odeon, The House of Blues and for most of its run The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Saturday night the long-running friendly competition held its final “Final Exam,” featuring 12 bands vying for the vaunted title of The Best (teen) Band In The Land. Oh, and there’s also $3,000 on the line for the winning band and $250 for their school’s music program.
