ALL ABOUT TODAYS TECHNOLOGICAL WORLD

"Robot Dreams" by Isaac Asimov is an incredible read! It's this collection of short stories that really gets you thinking about robots and their place in our world. Asimov dives deep into the whole idea of artificial intelligence and what it means for us humans. You know, those Three Laws of Robotics he talks about? They're like this moral compass for robots, but Asimov cleverly shows how they can lead to all sorts of tricky situations. What I love most about "Robot Dreams" is how each story feels like this little adventure into the future. There are some that are super heartwarming, showing the bond between humans and robots, while others are kinda chilling, with robots rebelling and all. But through it all, Asimov's writing keeps you hooked, making you really think about where technology might be headed and what it means for us. Overall, "Robot Dreams" is this timeless classic that still feels totally relevant today. Asimov's stories are like these little windows into possible futures, and they're definitely worth checking out if you're into sci-fi or just want something that'll make you ponder the big questions about life, technology, and everything in between.

Not for little kids

Went into the cinema expecting a light hearted adventure, but was instead faced with the complexities of dysfunctional relationships. Abandonment is the axis around which the movie spins, and the sweet and sour ending is hard to explain to kids. The movie is great for adults, and older kids, but definitely not meant for small children.

Is It Any Good?

Robot Dreams transcends language to create a wordless, emotional experience that sums up how friendship completes us. It reinforces a truth for many people: Life can be better if you share it with someone. This simple, sweet story demonstrates how a good friend can enhance your life. And how, when that someone isn't there, you can ache.

Dog and Robot's experiences may inspire viewers to fill in their own memories of wonderful times with friends who are no longer in their lives. For kids, losing a friend because of a move, a new school, or a change in activities can be pretty tough. Robot Dreams isn't necessarily the salve for that hurt, especially because Robot encounters some harsh realities while away from Dog. But the movie is an excellent, if emotional, companion piece for tweens or teens who finds themselves between friends, suggesting that hope is on the way.
