At the start of every year, many people make resolutions to help them reach personal and professional goals. This year, the Citrix Endpoint Management team is focusing on enhancing our agility and regularly providing new features for our customers. We want to show customers that Citrix Endpoint Management is back and that we’re listening and providing the features they want.

We’re excited to share that the first new Citrix Endpoint Management feature of 2023 is IdP enrollment for MAM.

Based on their requirements, customers leverage different modes of enrollment: MDM only, MDM and MAM, or MAM only. We have supported IdP-based enrollment for MDM, but our customers wanted to extend this to other modes, as well.

Now with this feature, no matter what their preferred enrollment mode, customers can take advantage of the security, compliance and experience benefits that come with Citrix Endpoint Management and IdP-based enrollment. We currently support Okta and AzureAD as IdP.

Instructions for Setup

For MAM only, use these instructions for setup. For MDM and MAM, use the instructions in the Citrix product documentation for MDM set up and the MAM-only instructions for MAM setup.

The images that follow show the end-user experience in Android, where the end user authenticates with the IdP once and gets enrolled for MDM and MAM. Its works similarly for other devices, as well.

Enroll in MDM.

Authenticate to IdP and the device enrolls in MDM. (Android Enterprise, in this case)

After the user is enrolled in MDM, the device automatically enrolls in MAM.
