Over the course of the last several years, we’ve made great strides to improve the presence of female leadership in our industry — a topic I am very passionate about. While I believe the road to reaching true equality is long, I am confident we’re on the right track knowing communities such as Women of the Channel (WOTC) exist to empower women and will ultimately bridge the gap by advancing the careers of women in technology.

The WOTC community is a branch of The Channel Company and is dedicated to helping women from across the IT channel thrive both professionally and personally. It has been rewarding to witness the network of women grow over the years and evolve into the next generation of female leaders. Each year, The Channel Company compiles a list honoring exceptional women for their strategic vision, thought leadership and partner advocacy which impacts the growth and innovation in the channel.

I’m so proud to share that 19 women from the Citrix team were named to CRN’s 2022 Women of the Channel list!

Ann Simon Julia Scully Robin Houston
Alissa Plumley Junelle Swan Stephanie Tunis
Ally Icardi Mandel Kathy Chen Sue Moynahan
Camy Ooi Masako Takagi Tricia Atchison
Danielle Jennings Michelle Senecal de Fonseca Yolanda Alfonso
Denise Mendez Michelle Zeid
Emma Knox Natalie Meyer

It is a great honor to be included on this prestigious list, and I’d like to congratulate these Citrix leaders for their influence and extraordinary expertise within the channel. It takes tremendous dedication, commitment and motivation to yield channel success, and that’s exactly what these women have done this past year and continue to do each day.

In addition to the 2022 Women of the Channel Award, CRN selects an elite group for its Power 100 List — a collection of exemplary leaders whose insight and influence help drive channel success. For the second year in a row, I am both honored and humbled to have made the Power 100 List. I would not be here without all the women and men who have inspired me and supported me throughout my career including my fellow Citrites.

And finally, I’d like to thank all the women mentioned above for supporting Citrix partners in all the ways you do. I appreciate the leadership you demonstrate daily, which provides the foundation to our shared success. I’m both grateful and proud that Citrix is committed to developing an inclusive culture that fosters the talent and visibility of women. Together, we will continue to advocate for the improvement of female leadership in our industry.
