They say that all good things must come to an end.

But for those who were fortunate enough to attend Citrix Field Kickoff 2022, the energy, motivation, and inspiration lives on.

From exciting keynotes and breakout sessions to the fun and entertainment, it was an action-packed event that will carry you, our partners, into a successful 2022.

If you were unable to attend or want to relive your favorites, you can get a summary of the key announcements, product demos, and resources on SalesIQ or watch the full sessions on-demand on ECC. Here are a few key moments that are still fresh on our minds.

1) Owning Our Success in 2022

In the Opening Keynote, Citrix EVP and Chief Customer Officer Hector Lima covered the partner growth opportunity ahead of us and why now is the time to capitalize on these new possibilities and make them real for our customers. He emphasized how “Together, we build incredible teams, we build incredible solutions, and we enable our customers to do their best work” and how he intends to make Citrix YOUR best business partner.

Citrix EVP of Business Strategy and CMO Tim Minahan outlined the opportunities we have ahead of us going forward. He highlighted a few major buying trends that IT and business leaders have prioritized as their companies emerge from the pandemic, pointing out how Citrix is the right vehicle to accelerate the business outcomes that customers need in each of these prioritized areas because we’re the market leader for VDI, we’re a top provider of AD&S, and we offer the most complete suite of collaborative work solutions. Tim also shared ways we’re taking steps to incent, empower, and remove barriers in 2022, with a keen focus on investing in our partners.

To wrap up the session, Citrix EVP and Chief Product & Technology Officer Joe Kim outlined our simplified product approach and gave a preview of pricing and packaging updates with a focus on the opportunity head for partners to drive sales success. We provided additional details on these simplified packages in this breakout session, and we went deeper into how we’re increasing customer value, simplifying the transition, and driving subscription value while introducing more opportunities for you as a partner.

2) Addressing Customer Business Outcomes

Michelle Senecal de Fonseca, Citrix VP, Global Cloud Innovation Strategic Partnerships, walked through how we’re engaging with each of the hyperscalers to build differentiated approaches during the Day 2 Keynote. She also addressed how we’re expanding the ways we integrate our solutions at the product-level, creating comprehensive technology alignment through connected solutions roadmaps.

Citrix VP and Head of Technology Strategy Christian Reilly outlined what our new simplified strategy looks like from the customer perspective. He emphasized the importance of listening to the customer and “tuning in” to their challenges, current state, and the outcomes they’re seeking with 3 scenarios — accelerating IT modernization, enabling secure distributed work, and boosting worker productivity.

3) Our Joint Journey into the Future

During the Closing Keynote, Ethan Fitzsimons, COO of the Citrix Worldwide Partner Sales and Ecosystems organization, addressed our priorities for 2022, how we’re leaning into our strengths, and how we’re aiming to be cloud-first in everything we do.

Michelle also shared how we can continue to deliver greater value around sustainability — even beyond what we’ve already been able to accomplish together with the help of our partners, and she announced that Citrix has been named on the Corporate Knights’ 18th annual ranking of the world’s 100 most sustainable corporations.

Tim Minahan and I gave you a glimpse of how we’re bringing even more impact and meaning to the inspirational stories we share as part of the Innovation Spotlight program. As I mentioned, the stories that will rise to the top will:

  • Focus on the specific design of innovative solutions, powered by Citrix technology
  • Highlight forward-looking use cases, delivered through a cloud service
  • Include customers willing to be featured to drive home the credibility of the story
  • Possess a human factor

I encourage you to share your story with us today!

4) Recognizing Partner Excellence

We celebrated award winners in the Geo Partner keynotes, and I announced this year’s Worldwide Partner of the Year award winners: Software One, Alchemy and Wipro. Please join me in congratulating all the winners!

5) Maximizing Growth with Citrix

In her session, Tiffani Bova, Global Growth Evangelist at Salesforce and WSJ bestselling author of Growth IQ, shared what it takes to stay relevant, be bold, and create an engine for sustained and repeatable growth in 2022 and beyond.

6) Drive Adoption and Expand Opportunities

2022 is your year to drive adoption, expand opportunities, and increase profitability. In this session, we shared how Citrix’s Partner Customer Success Management (PCSM) program will position your teams to win with customers while maximizing your return.

7) Inspiration from New York Times bestselling author Neil Pasricha

Through powerful personal stories, Neil flipped the traditional “Great Work – Big Success – Be Happy” paradigm on its head. He encouraged us to focus on happiness first, noting that great work and big success will follow. Building on Hector’s call to own our success in 2022, Neil spoke about owning our mindset and owning our happiness and shared exercises to achieve that.

8) A dose of virtual togetherness and healthy competition

This year’s social contest asked us to share ONE WORD each day of the event that represents how we will own success in 2022. Congratulations to the partner winners of our Own Our Success contest! Check out #CitrixFieldKickoff on Twitter and LinkedIn to see what everyone had to say.
