Software Consultant & Developer

Chicago

When I started studying at Grand Valley State University, software development was not even on my radar. But after a few semesters pursuing a degree in the medical field, I decided I would be better suited somewhere else. After hearing many recommendations to try it out, I ended up taking an introductory computer science course. I immediately knew that I had found the right fit—the art of creatively and logically solving problems in an ever-changing field drew me in.

In 2016, I graduated from Grand Valley with a passion to develop software, armed with an ample toolbelt to do so. I was given the opportunity to join the first Atomic Accelerator program, where I built a solid foundation in software practices and consulting skills.

These days, I love working across a wide variety of business domains and technical stacks. There is no "one size fits all" solution for every business, and I strive to find the right one for our clients. I focus on writing clean, maintainable code to solve the right problems.

Outside of developing software, I spend most of my time training in powerlifting and practicing strongman events. I also enjoy a wide variety of hobbies, such as music, cycling, photography, golf, disc golf, woodworking, and board games
