About this event

Saturdays, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Offered on select dates.

Take a ride along the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership’s newest bike tour route. The Northwest BeltLine Trail & Park Tour highlights newer segments of the Atlanta BeltLine and PATH Foundation trail network and features two of Atlanta’s recently completed green spaces.

This new route is about 11 miles long and starts and ends in the Westside BeltLine Connector parking lot located at 900 Bedford St. NW, Atlanta, 30318.

Check out the route map. Tour highlights include:

  • Westside BeltLine Connector
  • Rodney Cook Sr. Park
  • Echo Street West Development
  • Proctor Creek Greenway
  • Westside Park
  • Westside Trail Segment 3 (Marietta Boulevard)

Learn about the Atlanta BeltLine project and the historic neighborhoods the trail passes through, including Bankhead, Knight Station/Howell Park, Grove Park, Vine City, and English Avenue.

The terrain is mostly flat, but there are a few moderate hills on the Proctor Creek Greenway and inside Westside Park. Participants should be at least 13 years of age, have basic biking skills, and have a fitness level that would allow them to complete the tour as described.

A photo album of tour highlights can be found here.

Tour cost is a $10-per-participant donation to the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership, plus a small Eventbrite fee. If you want to participate but cannot afford this donation, please reach out to us at info@atlblp.org.

Bike and helmet rental are available from our bike rental partner, Clutch Bicycle Shop. Clutch will bring your bike/helmet to the tour start location and pick them up when the tour is finished.

For post-tour refreshments, Westside Motor Lounge and the Westside Paper entertainment district are near our endpoint.

Cancelation Policy

Atlanta BeltLine Partnership understands that money is valuable, and circumstances arise that can cause a change in plans. We want to work with you wherever possible. We also forecast our event resource planning based on having a solid understanding of how many riders we are expecting. Based on these considerations, we have adopted the following refund policy:

  • A refund of the donation is permitted if a participant submits a cancelation request to john@atlblp.org by 5:00 pm THE THURSDAY BEFORE THE EVENT.
  • A participant can transfer an existing registration (instead of cancelation) by contacting john@atlblp.org by 5:00 pm THE THURSDAY BEFORE THE EVENT.
  • For inclement weather cancelations, event participants can request a refund of the donation.
