  Two Kelowna, B.C., food establishments have been penalized for violating provincial liquor laws within a week of each other. In one case, the province's liquor regulator fined a Caribbean restaurant $11,000 for allowing alcohol off its premises. In another case, an Indian restaurant had its alcohol licence suspended for a week after serving a minor with alcohol and not checking their ID.
