It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Enrico “Ed” Tittoto. He passed away peacefully at Matthew’s House Hospice, in the loving arms of his wife, Elizabeth Tittoto, and his adopted daughter, Brittney Hatton, after a long battle with liver disease.
Enrico will be remembered as someone who lived life to the fullest. He was known for his sense of humour and wit in every conversation whether in person or over the phone as well as his conscientiousness, vitality, determination, and the deep love he showed for his family and friends.
In addition to his wife and daughter, Enrico will be deeply missed by his brothers, Guido and Sergio, and his nephew Michael (Alessia) Tittoto. He was a proud granduncle to Charlotte.
A talented tradesman and proud member of IBEW Local 353, Enrico worked as an electrician for decades. He left his mark on numerous major projects, including Pearson Airport Terminal 2 following in the footsteps of his late father, Nino, who worked on Terminal 1 as well as Oakville Ford, Southlake Hospital, and many others. Though the work could be dangerous, it was a profession he truly loved.
Enrico had a passion for fishing and often spoke fondly of his end-of-summer trips with the Galloway family. He was also an active member of the Alliston Sportsmen’s Club, where he volunteered as a Range Safety Officer (RSO). He had a deep appreciation for cars, from his favourite blue and white Z28 Camaro to his blue Sonata, caring for them with pride and dedication.
He also loved to travel, embracing adventure wherever he went. In later years, Enrico and his wife enjoyed taking day trips to cities across Ontario, creating many cherished memories together.
Enrico cared deeply for those closest to him, and he will be greatly missed by the many lives he touched. His wisdom and memory will live on through the lasting impact he made on the world and on those he loved.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Enrico’s Life will be held in the Cliffside Hall on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham (905-936-3477).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Matthew’s House Hospice, and you are also encouraged to consider registering as an organ and tissue donor at BeADonor.ca. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.RodAbramsFuneralHome.com.
