"The Court ultimately finds Plaintiff's arguments persuasive," U.S. District Chief Judge Troy L. Nunley of the Eastern District of California wrote in an order granting plaintiff DirecTV's motion for a temporary restraining order placing Nexstar's $6.2 billion acquisition of Tegna on pause for at least 14 days, pending review of claims the broadcast merger would harm consumers and competition.
