Autism Acceptance Month Film Screening & Panel Apr. 4
2026-04-03 19:00 UTC by Jody Mace

For Autism Acceptance Month, B3 is presenting a free screening of a film that centers the neurodivergent experience, followed by a panel conversation with Autistic adults.

The free event takes place Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., at Chapel Hill Public Library, 100 Library Drive, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Panelists will reflect on their lived experiences, highlighting systemic challenges, resources and ways to be an ally to the disability and neurodivergent community.

This year’s selected film is “Unmet,” a powerful short documentary shining a light on the Direct Support Professional (DSP) and waiver crisis in North Carolina—and the urgent impact on individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families.

Popcorn will be provided, and light refreshments will be available for purchase at the B3 Coffee kiosk.
