  The East Kootenay region of B.C. has decided to stop changing its clocks after this fall and join the rest of B.C. in the new Pacific time zone, which will be aligned on permanent daylight time. The move means just one portion of the Columbia-Shuswap region, including Golden and Field, will continue changing their clocks to be on mountain time.
