 Ag News for America Ever since I participated in the EPA Press Conference 15 years ago that announced their approval of E15 (and inadvertently E20), my company and I have been campaigning for its availability at service stations. Naturally, there has been a continuous effort by the oil industry to stymie blends higher than E10. But, what I have found to be the biggest problem are the major ethanol associations themselves (including NCGA), who have done very, very little to make E15 – and higher – a reality. Farmers and other individual entities have contributed untold millions of dollars to the associations’ “lobbying efforts” and have received almost nothing in return. I’m sorry if this offends my friends at the associations, but it’s true. They’ve been playing patty cake too long.
