"[A] repetition of uncorroborated statements rarely supplies a basis for a valid misconduct complaint," Chief Judge Jeffrey Sutton of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit wrote in an order dismissing U.S. Department of Justice allegations claiming U.S. District Chief Judge James E. Boasberg made anti-Trump statements at a private gathering of the nation's chief federal jurists.
