If you’re an adult in the Charlotte area looking to make new friends and play some chess, Plaza Midwood Chess Club might be for you! It’s open to all skill levels.
Plaza Midwood Chess Club is meeting every Thursday, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Common Market Plaza Midwood, 2007 Commonwealth Avenue, Charlotte, North Carolina. These meetups are scheduled through December 17, 2026.
You can bring your own chess set or use one on hand.
There’s no cost to join or to participate. You’re encouraged to buy a little something at the hosting venue.
