wee inklings PP746 Color Challenge from Ann 2025-07-13 04:00 UTC by LeAnnehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07196813209388404836noreply@blogger.comHello, stamping friends! Time for a new Paper Players challenge, and this week, Ann is our lovely hostess with an interesting color challenge:
I will admit that at first glance, this challenge had me stumped! But as I was going through some of my older stamps, I remembered this outline feather from Papertrey, and I thought it would be a perfect element! Here we go:
To begin, I placed the stamp in my stamp positioner, then stamped it with Pretty Peacock ink on a card base of Thick Basic White. After cleaning the stamp well, I inked it again with Versamark ink and stamped right on top of the Peacock ink. I heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder, which made it really easy to watercolor in those open areas with Lemon Lolly, Fresh Freesia and a washed-out shade of Pretty Peacock inks using an aquapainter:
I managed to find some sequins in my stash that pretty much matched my colors. A simple, fun sentiment from the same set finished it off!
What do these colors make you think about? Flowers? Geometric elements? Feathers? LOL! I hope you'll check out what the DT created over at the Paper Players blog, then share your creativity with us as well! Thanks for popping in today! Enjoy it and be blessed!
