UK designer, Nina of Ninaouity creates some of the most dainty resin and wire floral jewelry I have seen! She is clearly inspired by tiny flowers and rises to the challenge of making bluebells (above) and grape hyacinth flowers!
This is not an easy technique as the resin has be "span" across the empty spaces between the wire frames. The resin then has to dry - usually UV resin is used - with additional coats applied as necessary. The results are lovely as the resin is translucent and gives the designs the appearance of stained glass!

ReplyDeleteI have the dip resin that is used in these gorgeous creations but haven't given it a try yet. I doubt very much that I'll create anything as stunning as these tho!
