Taste your way through life: one recipe, one dish, one restaurant at a time. What's for Dinner: February 23 - March 1 2025-02-24 03:13 UTC by Michelle Rittlerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14662267848184660743noreply@blogger.com
If you've been following my Instagram Stories today, then you know it was a big day for our family. More specifically, it was a big day for our sweet girl, who competed in her last swim meet of the season.
Since she's still a new competitive swimmer, she suffered from bouts of anxiety early on. But she put in the work week after week and was determined to finish the season strong. She had two goals for today - to fully compete in her events and to swim without worrying about her time.
Well... not only did she finish her events, she placed first in one of her heats! My heart burst seeing how happy she was and to see her confidence skyrocket.
Core memory, for sure.
With the early morning and the excitement of the meet, we were all pretty zonked by the time we got home. As we pulled into the driveway, I mentally gave myself a huge pat on the bat for prepping tonight's dinner last night so all I had to do was turn on the slow cooker before we left the house.
Another benefit of menu-planning!
Curious to see what we had tonight? Or to find out what's on deck for dinner in the days ahead? Keep reading for this week's menu plan!
