Most employees who prefer hybrid work say their ideal situation would be to spend two or three days a week in the office, according to recent research from Resume Builder.

The report was based on data from a survey conducted in April 2024 among 1,250 full-time employees.

Among respondents who prefer a hybrid work arrangement, 41% say they'd like to work in-person three days a week, 27% two days a week, 13% four days a week, 10% one day a week, and 9% a few days a month.

Workers say the biggest benefits of being in the office are social interaction, faster communication, and easier collaboration.

Workers say the biggest benefits of being remote are schedule flexibility, improved work-life balance, and not having to commute.
