Kenneth E. Boggs, age 84, of Waco, Texas, passed away April 13th, 2024.

Memorial Service: 11AM, Thursday, May 16, at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend Drive, Waco, 76708.

He was born on June 10th, 1939, in Enid, Oklahoma. Kenneth went to Chula Vista High School, then he served in the Army. Following his military service, he went to work for General Dynamics, then worked for a construction company in Waco. This is where he found his love for building and carpentry. He followed his dream and started his own company, KB Construction, and ran that company with pride and integrity for 35 years, until he retired.

Kenneth met Oma Dee Boggs and they were married on June 15th, 1963, and last year they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Together they had 3 children, Elizabeth Geurin, Jonathan Boggs, and Tiffanie Juntunen.

He was continually active in the church throughout the years where he went on many mission trips and shared the Gospel around the world. He devoted many hours to learning his craft of carpentry and was known for his quality of work. Ken never met a stranger. He loved people and was known around the community as a sweet, loving man. He loved his family, especially his grand kids. He would spend countless hours playing board games, making slime, and playing in the backyard just to see those grand kids smile.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Inez Boggs; brother, Roy Boggs, and his wife Mary, sisters, June Neeley and her husband Bobby, and Patsy Cotarelo; grandchildren, Glenn Geurin, and Lauren Castaneda Boggs.

He is survived by his wife, Oma Dee Boggs; children, Elizabeth Geurin (Randy), Jonathan Boggs, and Tiffanie Juntunen (Thomas); grandchildren, Alesis Juntunen, Jacob Boggs, Memphis Juntunen, Cadence Juntunen and Carter Boggs; and many cousins, and cherished friends.
