Travel With Grant reports that some JetBlue credit card holders now have the ability to refer others and earn 10,000 TrueBlue points per referral up to 50,000 JetBlue TrueBlue points. This obviously may be of interest to JetBlue fans and anyone who opened a JetBlue credit card as part of the status match for Delta elite last year.
Barclays does not offer all cardholders the ability to generate referrals, but rather targeted some cardholders within the “Offers” bar near the top of the desktop interface. You may alternatively find a referral option by clicking the “Rewards & Benefits” button under your TrueBlue points balance in your Barclays account.
If you are targeted for this offer, I believe that your referral link will pull up both the JetBlue and JetBlue Plus cards. I expect that your friend could open either and you’d get your 10,000 points.
While 10,000 points isn’t a massive value, it’s certainly a nice bonus if you know someone else who is interested in the JetBlue card.
