'Absolutely thrilled': Portland Timbers debut Tillamook as jersey partner

The Oregon-based, farmer-owned dairy company made its debut on the Timbers kit in Sunday’s match against the Seattle Sounders FC.

PORTLAND, Oregon — On Sunday, the Portland Timbers unveiled its new front of jersey sponsor, according to a press release from the team.

The Oregon-based, farmer-owned dairy cooperative Tillamook is the new front of jersey sponsor for the Portland soccer club.

Tillamook made its debut on the Timbers kit in during Sunday's match against the Seattle Sounders FC, according to the soccer club.

“We are absolutely thrilled to bring these two iconic Oregon brands together and to celebrate our state in such a unique way through this expanded partnership,” shared Timbers CEO Heather Davis. “Tillamook is a brand that truly represents the best of Oregon, and the Portland Timbers are incredibly proud to wear the Tillamook name on our jerseys.”

According to the club, Tillamook is a long-standing partner of the Timbers and have represented the dairy brand around the stadium since 2014 through partnerships, such as "Cheddar Baby Loaf" that Timbers fans are familiar with at concessions throughout the stadium.

This sponsor announcement comes after the team terminated their corporate partnership with DaBella due to sexual harassment allegations in March.

The Hillsboro-based home improvement contractor was the team’s first new jersey sponsor since 2011. The Timbers had signed a multi-year deal with DaBella in November, allowing them to display their logo on Timbers jerseys and throughout Providence Park.

In February, a former executive accused the DaBella CEO, Donnie McMillan Jr., of unwanted advances and sexual harassment of at least three female employees. The allegations surfaced in a court filing on Feb. 23.

At the time, the Timbers said their decision to end the DaBella sponsorship was rooted in upholding the values and expectations of their supporters, partners and employees.

The soccer club says Tillamook will also be featured prominently on the Timbers' home and away kits, including the club’s commemorative 50th anniversary jersey during the 2025 MLS season.
