Mild to very warm weather, seasonally showery pattern to continue across the Heartland

Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for the likelihood of near- or above-normal temperatures and precipitation across most of the country.  Cooler-than-normal conditions will be confined to western Oregon and northwestern California.

Meanwhile drier-than-normal weather should be limited to the lower Great Lakes region and an area stretching from the Four Corners region into eastern Wyoming and environs.
