Competitive spirit alive and well at Minnesota FFA Convention

The competitive aspect of FFA is being celebrated during Minnesota’s 95th state FFA Convention in the Twin Cities.

Minnesota FFA state sentinel Mackenzie Kuschel says the theme for this year’s convention is “Achieve: What it Takes.”

“Our team came up with that just because a lot of us are super competition-driven.”

She tells Brownfield members love to showcase their passion through competition.

“Not only do we have those competitive career development and leadership events, we also have proficiencies. Which highlight jobs and student leadership in classrooms, as well as entrepreneurship.”

As a freshman, Kuschel was a semifinalist in creed speaking at the National FFA Convention.
