John Deere pledges nearly $4 million to FFA

John Deere has pledged nearly $4 million in grants to help support the National FFA Organization.

Aaron Wetzel with the John Deere Foundation says the gift is focused on educational outreach.

“To really lift up this next generation of leaders in the agriculture industry.”

He tells Brownfield the grants will provide access to resources for students interested in exploring a career in agriculture.

“And also helping them in their leadership development opportunities as well.”

National FFA Foundation president Molly Ball says the support from John Deere truly helps the organization work toward its mission of preparing members for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success.
