Milk futures, cash dairy mostly lower

Milk futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange were mostly lower midweek as was cash trade with position squaring and a higher dollar providing some weakness.

April Class III milk 21 cents lower at $15.64. May 32 cents lower at $16.05. June down 32 cents at $16.77. July 24 cents lower at $17.52. August through October contracts 8 to 12 cents lower.

Dry whey up $0.0025 at $0.4025.

Blocks down $0.0175 at $1.4075. Three trades were made at $1.4050.

Barrels down $0.0175 at $1.42. One trade was made at $1.4225.

Butter down $0.01 at $2.84. One trade was made at that price.

Nonfat dry milk down $0.0025 at $1.12. Four trades were made at that price.
