Note Card With Magnolia Mood

The beautiful Magnolia Mood Stamp set is great for all occasions. Today, I am sharing some Note Cards With Magnolia Mood.

The beauty of magnolia is that there is no need to color the flower, so it is a beautiful flower set to create a card at the last minute. I added some color for some of the cards, but very lightly and only where the artic added the shaded spots.

Magnolia Mood Without Colors

At first, I was coloring the shaded spots with Pettal Pink of Light Crumb Cake, and then I realized that it was lovely with only the color of the leaves (Old Olive and Daffodil Delight on the leaves) and the center in Pecan Pie. So, I did over seven dozen note cards for my Thank You card for the customers for this month’s purchase.

The card base is the Very Vanilla Notecards on page 135 of the 2023-24 annual catalog. The top layer is 3 x 4-½.

Crumb Cake or Pettal Pink on the Magnolia.

The top card I used was the light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. The card below is the light Pettal Pink Stampin’ Blends. I only added the color on the shaded spots when the artist added the stamp.

I am a big fan of Magnolia, and I will try to plan a tree here in Cheyenne, WY. This magnolia is called the Star Magnolia. From my research, it looks like it will be a challenge with our winter’s wind and low temperature, but we’ll try it.
Brett planted a beautiful star magnolia tree in Texas, and we were lucky to see two blooming seasons before we moved out. We also had a beautiful one when we lived in Pensacola, Florida, so in short, I had lots of great memories when I created this lovely Magnolia Mood stamp set.
